I love the stories and agree that this is a great way to share them. I’m appreciative of it. I love the narrator’s voice but find the rhythm of the reading to be too poetic. It can sound like someone putting the emphasis on the wrong syllable. If I were producer for a day I would suggest a more straightforward reading of the text. Regardless, thanks for putting this out - they are beautiful pieces.

Wait… really? This is read by AI and not a person? I almost got two subscriptions to the magazine today (for husband and mother) but this mechanical unemotive robot is So impossible to listen to.. I’m not getting them. :(

A fun way to share the archive.

Please get someone else to read these. It’s a really tough listen and has potential to be a really enjoyable podcast. Right now though, it’s not. I’ve tried 3 episodes and nothing about the narration makes you want to stick with it. 3 stars for the idea.
