As an accountant and as a business owner, as a journalist who covers small and mid-size businesses, for years I've been sort of obsessed about different metrics and financial reporting and what we need to be tracking to make sure that we're running our business the right way. And I've got something a little bit revelatory that I wanted to share with you today, which has to do with reports. I know that when you run your business and you're watching your cash flow, you got a lot of different advice about the different types of things that you should be, keeping track of, which is fine. I mean, yeah, you should be getting a monthly financial statement.
