100 episodes

There are hundreds of Doctor Who episodes and stories out there and we intend to watch them all! Not just that – We’ll watch, review, discuss, debate, rate and praise and/or poke holes in every episode of Doctor Who, starting with the 1963 pilot. That’s right; we’re beginning with William Hartnell and then working our way forward through time, episode by episode and Doctor by Doctor. In parallel, we're also reviewing New Who, starting with Eccleston in the 2005 revival. At the time of writing this, we're already well into Matt Smith!

From comparing Dalek and Cybermen military strategems to ranking companions by hairstyle, we’ve got it covered. And while you subscribe to us on iTunes, we’re populating WhoBackWhen.com with written reviews, episode statistics and an ever-growing visual index of aliens, creatures, historical figures and companions that the Doctor meets along the way.

Fantastic!

I absolutely love this podcast. I do not know anyone who watches Doctor Who so it’s very lovely to listen to Who Back When’s episodes. It’s very much like hanging out with friends! I highly recommend this podcast to any fans of Doctor Who!

Tons of fun, if only the host paid more attention to the shows

Been binging Who Back When since discovering it a couple months ago. The hosts see "Doctor Who" the same way I do: utterly fantastic in spite of its many, many, many flaws. As someone who is capabile of fully enjoying the show despite almost always seeing myriad problems with every storyline, I appreciate their ability to poke fun without losing the love.

My only real beef with Who Back When is that the primary host, while able to recap each story in great detail, doesn't seem to actually pay that much attention to the storytelling. In the majority of the podcasts, he misses or misinterprets at least one plot point or other detail, and has to be corrected by a co-host. Sometimes they *all* miss major plot points.

But that's no less frustating than most episodes of "Doctor Who" itself, and like "Doctor Who" itself, I very much enjoy Who Back When in spite of its flaws.

Just what the Doctor ordered!

This podcast is very well done! As a student who doesn't have a lot of time it is fun to listen to the podcast in between classes and almost feel like you watched an episode of the Doctor!
