Interesting sounding case, but...

I can’t get past the extreme overacting, especially in the dialogue between the host and Rachel. Painful. I had to stop after the first episode.

Worst podcast to date in my book

I listened to the whole podcast which, was extremely hard to do. When I start a true crime podcast, I don’t research anything about it so that I don’t ruin the storyline. I wanted to cut this off so many times but didn’t because I wanted to know what happened.

But here are the reasons I feel this is the worst podcasts I’ve listened to:

1. Half of every episode is “we will get more into that later” or “I’ll go into more detail about that later” and to me, later never came until the last 3 minutes of the last episode.

2. The monologue between the narrator and every person she interviewed was so overdramatic that I honestly still don’t believe that they were real interviews. I know I’m probably wrong but it actually sounds like a very horribly produced Lifetime movie every time she talked to someone.

3. The entire podcast was supposed to be about remembering the good of Julie. And honestly, I had to go look up more about her because this podcast told me absolutely nothing. The narrator did an AWFUL job at putting the pieces of her story together that I ended up having to go research it and find out myself. Which to me, defeats the time and effort put into this podcast.

I don’t ever leave negative reviews but this was by far the worst podcast I’ve ever listened to.
