Why Authenticity Is a Key to Your Entrepreneurial Success with Cindy Oswald The Art of Winning

    • Entrepreneurship

“So there's one thing that starting a business, you have to be passionate about it to start it. But I don't think you have to know exactly what your passion is before you just dive into it. So so all these things I did do in college in high school or whatever it was this Low risk, low commitment, because you're only in it for six months, so you are able to try it. So yeah, like that mom on the roof. It's like I can discover right now you can discover in the process if you do like it, but you too, I think you and I both learned by us just by trying it.” - Cindy Oswald

90% of startups fail within the first year of operation. It’s the cold hard truth and exactly the reason why a lot of people are scared to give entrepreneurship a try. Cindy Oswald on the other hand had learned it from her father she can do anything, not because she’s the best but because she could always find a way.
Today, Cindy is a full-time homeschooling mom (ages 5, 1.5, and a surprise one on the way!), wife to a med-school student, and a full-time creative entrepreneur. Her passions are family and creating, so she’s currently taking those two out at the same time by being the owner/creator/founder of Homeschool Languages! Without marketing (they incentivized word of mouth at the beginning) and without a physical product, they have been able to sell over 30k in pre-sales.
