Its been a tough couple weeks for Greg Gard and the Wisconsin Badgers basketball program, we talk about why its ok and still reasonable to have optimism with the program. We talk about the Greg Gard resume, why he's a proven good coach with a track record that shouldn't be ignored. I also point out that every major program and coach has a couple down years, thats the normal pattern.
I talk about the youth on the team and how they should get better next year with experience and a strong incoming recruiting class. I also love that Connor Essegian has started to blossom into a star, if the team can get healthy around him they might still have a little bit of a run in them.
