Nicole Byer is single and has been for decades. She’s smart, funny, has a fat ass and loves giving blow jobs. So the question is why is she perpetually single? This podcast is a quest to find that answer. Every week, Nicole invites a comedian, friend, or ex-fling to interview their dating life and figure out her own.
Caught Cheating... Twice! (w/ Ketra Long)
Comedian Ketra Long joins Nicole to tell the story about how she got caught cheating twice in her relationship. She also shares the time she convinced Ne-Yo to come see her stand-up show, which she proceeded to absolutely bomb. Ketra teaches Nicole how she manages to get flown out of the country for expensive dates, plus talks about her first kiss and first fingering. This is a wild episode, folks.

Having a Drama-Free Divorce (w/ Grasie Mercedes)

Plus, Nicole shares her rave review for a Broadway show which featured many exposed dicks.
Setting Yourself on Fire (w/ Vanity Jay)

She shares the complicated nature of dating both customers and strippers from clubs, the time she accidentally burned herself lighting her pussy on fire, and the challenges of dating a jealous partner. Farting in Bed with your Lover (w/ Sudi Green)
Comedian and writer Sudi Green (SNL, I Love That For You) joins Nicole to discuss their awkward encounters with celebrities, having baby fever, and farting in bed with your lover. It’s all over the place now
I have been listening to this podcast for years! Like a lot of the OG listeners agreed it was actually so nice hearing another black womens perspective on being single for life. But as the years have gone on and I have gone on to date and be in relationships it seems clear that she just doesn’t want to really be in a relationship, which is fine! Over the years there hasn’t been much change from when she started the podcast she just keeps talking about the same 4 main points about how she’s never been in a relationship, she doesn’t want to be single forever, her type is just someone nice, and she doesn’t know how to date EVERY SINGLE EPISODE!!! People give her advice and she is either shocked by the super simple tips or goes on to explain why that it doesn’t work for her so she doesn’t want to try it (but nothing seems to be working for her) I love the drag queens but since it’s a dating podcast maybe more about their dating lives. Also like some listeners have said it’s so clear when she either doesn’t care for the guests or is completely not listening to them because all she says is “mmhmm” or there are just odd long pauses (ketra long’s episode was lowki uncomfortable) Also shes always talking about how she doesn’t care about things or peoples opinions or things like that but it’s pretty clear that she does. I know it’s a comedy podcast and kind of a bit but the actual purpose of this podcast is all lost I think the best thing she could do for herself in terms of dating is really be honest about what she wants and who she is and do a little self exploration instead of relying on the podcast to have guests she doesn’t really want to talk to tell her things she already knows!
