I break down why Novocaine works as both an action-packed thrill ride and a punch-the-sky story about finding your inner hero. From Jack Quaid's pitch-perfect performance as Nate Caine (a guy who literally can't feel pain but gives us ALL the feels) to Amber Midthunder's complex Sherry, this film delivers the goods in the most wonderful/twisted way possible.
