Please stop

Soooo... I stumbled upon this podcast because I love crime and Wisconsin. Honestly this is absolutely horrible. You clearly have done no research on anything. You both sound ignorant, uneducated and dismissive of anything relevant. I feel like you two are high school besties doing a research paper but you forgot it was due until the day before. Mcgruff the crime dog could have done a better job. I just don’t think either of you have any business talking about anything crime or psyche related. It’s honestly embarrassing and cringy.

Inaccurate

Not only do these girls laugh at those affected by mental illness after admitting they didn’t do any research and don’t know much about it (psychosis is a symptom of schizophrenia, schizophrenia is not a type of psychosis), they say things about the legal and mental health systems that are just plain not true (it’s not possible to involuntary commit yourself, and please don’t broadcast what you “think” is true about a law). They use shows like Grey’s Anatomy as references to their opinions on real life scenarios, which makes them sound very amateur. All they do is speculate and there is never any reference of sources or experts. The lack of education showcases stereotypes and poor judgement (please stop saying mental institution! And know what psych hospitals are actually used for; it’s not just medication management!)They constantly stumble on their words and say the wrong ones. I could only listen for a little while as I found myself getting angry at how much false information I was hearing and how ridiculous their nonsensical banter was.
