Great Guests, Great Convo, and Wilco!

This is one of my favorite podcasts to listen to. I became a Tweedy family fan after watching their Instagram livestreams during the pandemic lockdown and through this podcast have learned so much more about Wilco! Thanks Mary & Meredith & Team WWLY!

Just the kind of discussions I love to have about Wilco!

I still have a few episodes left to catch up on, but I’ve really loved everything I’ve heard so far. The song-by-song discussions about Ode to Joy were exactly the kind of conversations I love to have about things I’m crazy about, and there aren’t that many people—even big Wilco fans—who can tolerate those discussions for long! I particularly like that “the Mares” aren’t obsessed with facts, stats and gear geek details. Instead, they’re focused on feelings and interpretations, both musical and lyrical. And you get so much from the guests you interact with. There are now several Wilco related podcasts but yours occupies a special place in my heart. I feel like we’re kindred spirits!

Another amazing interview! You guys, so remarkably, ferret out such interesting people who could not be happier to talk about Wilco. They all are interesting in their own right and have such a passion for what they do. That paired with your questions that nudge them into personal stories appreciating or interacting with Wilco makes for a great show. Thanks!
