Wild Words is a show that helps writers embrace the season they’re in. If you’re tired of feeling like there’s never enough time to write, if parenting or a day job drains your creative energy, or if you’re struggling to figure out where social media, blogging, and building a readership fits into your already busy schedule, you’re in the right place. On this show we support each other to slow down, trust our intuition, find contentment, and ignore the conflicting advice we find on the internet. Through conversations with fellow writers, and solo shows sharing insights from her own journey, host Nicole Gulotta (author of Eat This Poem and Wild Words) encourages you to approach creativity through a seasonal lens, and helps you untangle the messy process of embracing your circumstances, trusting your voice, and making time to put pen to paper, season after season. Brew a cup of tea, hit subscribe, and settle in as we explore the writer’s life. To join a thriving community of women writers, visit thewildwords.com/community.

A kindred spirit

I just stumbled on Nicole Gulotta's new podcast and absolutely love it. Nicole is a thoughtful interviewer and a seasoned writer who approaches the writing process with curiosity and love. Her interview with Elissa Altman was especially interesting and insightful. If you're a writer, you won't want to miss it.

Excellent podcast to nurture a creative breakthrough

This show is like having a kind, supportive voice in your ear, encouraging you to embrace yourself, wherever you are in your creative journey. It has helped me slow down to a more sustainable pace, become even more real, reflective, and introspective about where I’m at right now. Highly recommend this to anyone who needs a boost of positive encouragement, and wants to hear a very honest and deep perspective on the creative process.
