Jennifer Brown’s podcast is one of my top 5 podcasts!

LISTEN To and SUBSCRIBE to The Will to Change podcast right now. One of the most candid, no-nonsense podcast on inclusion and equity. Episode 44 is my absolute fave. Jennifer Brown interviews Robin DiAngelo, author of White Fragility: Why It is so Hard for White People to Talk About Racism. My top 3 highlights as a person in #diversity #equity #inclusion (DEI) work in the workplace:

1) For hiring, consider inserting this question as a standard interview question--“Integrating racial equity lens into everything we do is a key value of this organization. How do you integrate racial equity lens into your work?”

2) How “whiteness” is a dirty word in the workplace (Both Jennifer and Robin both have had to remove the word "white" from slides when doing work.

3) How progressive whites, who consider themselves woke, are the biggest offenders of reinforcing whiteness status quo.
