Winter Solstice and Yule The Great Journey Podcast

On this trail I will be looking at the Winter Solstice and ancient festivals celebrated around this time of year. Then take a more detailed look into the Roman festival Saturnalia and the Scandinavian and Icelandic tradition of Yule or Yuletide. With Yule I will go over both ancient and modern practice, even some recipes of yule treats. Then in the Mythological Minute I stay in the Yule tradition with a family of Trolls or sometimes Giants, so would you kindly grab your thermos and fill them up and we will set out on this trail.
