Jeffrey is an elder in the California-Nevada Annual Conference. He’s a first generation Chinese-Malaysian American who has served at multiple levels of the UMC. He’s currently the President-Emeritus and Professor of Hebrew Bible at Claremont School of Theology. In this episode, Jeffrey shares his story of coming to faith, call to ministry and experiences in predominately white spaces in the US. He also shares his wealth of knowledge and perspective on the state of the UMC.
