Writing about Wise and Texas

Get the podcast and enjoy the free information provided by a true Texan. I have lived here all my life and I have studied Texas history for the fun of the subject matter. Ken Wise has deep roots in Texas and shows his pride in the state. I am with him that beans are not in real Chili! He is not a professional broadcaster using studio grade equipment, but he does a great job presenting a huge subject in a sumple to understand manner. I just started listening a couple of months ago and I am about half way through the whole set of podcasts. It beats today's news with their talking heads when you are driving a distance.

Every tour guide in SA should have this podcast for training.

I am a carriage driver in downtown San Antonio and I find this podcast absolutely wonderful. I am asked so many questions throughout the evening and I love having a source like this to give information to all of our tourists. Thank you and I look forward to every single episode.

Great Info; Not-So-Great Delivery

You can tell from the first episode that a lot of research was conducted. A lot of time was spent getting the facts right and putting the story together. And the subject matter is interesting. But the narration is so monotone. There are important pieces of information that are easily missed because the tone of the voice. It’s too monotone.
