This is worth your time

This is the first time I have taken the time to review any podcast ever. I’m taking the time to review this one to let you know it’s worth your time. It’s a great mix of history, travelogue, and food podcast. The host is super approachable and funny. Not pretentious at all. His prose is great too.

One of my absolute favorite podcasts!

I have always been passionate about accessibility of knowledge. What Drew does in his podcast creates just that - history that is detailed, yet told simply enough that anyone can listen and learn! With his thorough research combined with amazing story telling, dad jokes, travel tips, and recipes, this is by far one of the best podcasts I have ever listened to. Thank you, Drew, for sharing your knowledge in a way that is fun and fascinating!

Great mix of history and modern

I binge on this podcast and wish I’d found it sooner. I’ve been to so many of these places, gone on tours, and yet I learn something new from every podcast episode. I love how he mixes great stories and interviews with people who have recently visited.
