WOOCAST - Week 4 WOOCAST

    • Baseball

Jeremy Bandy, The BINK and Jon Guynes are back for another episode of WOOCAST. Only on 97.9 FM Unity Radio, the best sports show in Worcester, Executive Producer Ernie Floyd.
The guys commend our WooSox on finishing out last weekend with big wins against Lehigh at home. Much needed before going on a long road trip to Buffalo.
The team battled back and forth with Buffalo. It was nice to see more consistency coming from the pitchers. Transactions made a difference as Gonzalez was sent down and our favorite pitcher Uwasawa was also sent back down.
Chase Meidroth, Emmanual Valdez, Niko Kavadas are hitting the ball well, knocking in RBIs, the difference being batting when it counts, having runners in scoring position. My completely biased favorite players Jamie Westbrook, Bobby Dalbac, and Nick Sogard are heating up, along with the weather.
Jeremy Bandy and Jon Guynes believe pitcher Richard Fitts is developing nicely while Luis Guerrero is at 23 years old, is a top pitcher who throws the gas.
Buffalo has a top roster and Worcester will not go quietly into the night. A home series with Wilkes/Barre is just what the doctor ordered. The Sox are home all week and against the best team in the division. They take care of business at Polar Park and hopefully will move up in the standings. At the end of the episode an interview with new Red Sox Hall Of Famer Trot Nixon. You don’t want to miss it!
