India’s power grab in Kashmir.

Great episode. But I wonder why you didn’t cover the positive aspect of revoking article 370.
The area of Jammu and Kashmir has been in shambles with almost slim chances of employment. The militants in the area have destroyed life there. By revoking 307 New Delhi has control over the police. Which means it can better control actions and inactions in the region.
Although human rights violation has occurred, and that is not acceptable, hopefully good will come out of this movement in the end. Maybe more businesses will move and flourish in H&M’s, better schools will open and more people will take to education rather than guns. I agree Modi’s method is extreme, but you should have covered the positive aspect of this movement too! Just a thought....

Good, informative, but just a little biased.

Accurate, but it overuses the term right to refer to Conservative, Conservatives in the U.S. and the world actually have shifted from party to party around the world, and government type to government type. And Conservatives have a great sceptical view on the world and Vox ignores that sometimes because Conservatives are wrong a lot of the time, especially now. Vox just needs to have 1 or 2 more middle leaning people who can keep Vox from the bias its close to going to.

Then and now

This podcast used to be a favorite for world news but in the last six months has declined significantly. Early on the podcast went into sufficient depth about the concepts being discussed. In the last six months, episodes have become short and superficial, some limited to 15 or 20 minutes of discussion of what should be a complex topic and filled with lots of banter.
