A Jolly Good Episode: The Stout Hunt Heads to the UK
After inducting M-43 into the Top 10 and "enjoying" some sour beers last week, the guys are right on the Stout Hunt. They're going to drink a new stout each episode until they find magic. In this week's episode they enjoy a Hoppy Wheat from Door County Brewing, an Imperial Porter from Griffinclaw and an Oatmeal Stout from Samuel Smith. WTF is a "Tadcaster?" Grab a beer and let's get reviewing...
The Show Goes SOUR during the Stout Hunt
You never know what will happen during the show and in this episode, the guys bring back a sour and we received a listener contribution from a listener on our Stout Hunt. To say thanks, our listener Rob from Indiana get a promotion.
After the coronation of M-43 last week, the guys are right back on the trail for MAGIC. It's a tough job but someone needs to do it.

What it is
The World Beer Federation of Dusseldorf, Germany keeps a very low profile. They don’t even have a Web presence. But they do allow two commissioners to give us a peek into their inner workings and their rating methodology through the World’s Top 10 Beers podcast. Commissioners Bob and Doug (no last names, please) take their responsibilities seriously, but fortunately for listeners, they don’t take themselves overly seriously. Listen as they evaluate a variety of beers and their accompanying promo copy. Marvel as they explain and evaluate subtle differences in head-to-head (foam-to-foam?) comparison. Shake your head as you wonder how they even find these beers you’ve never seen or heard of (with a lot of help from Philip the Beer Ninja and a little help from beleaguered intern Ashley). A lot of people post a lot of opinions about beer. Few can claim this level of judgment and expertise.
Other than actually drinking great beer myself, the next best thing is listening to Bob and Doug discuss drinking their great beer.
Need a laugh while spending a Saturday night drinking beer? Here you go. Enjoy. Bob and Doug and their team out of Düsseldorf, Germany taste, analyze and rate the top beers in the World with humor and honesty. They ARE magic.
