Announcements: That Thing We LOVE to Hate
Does your church do announcements as a part of the service? If so, have you ever wondered where to put them, how to have them not break the flow, or if you really should have them at all? If so, this podcast is for YOU! Nichole Paulos joins the podcast to interview Austin as they discuss 5 Announcement RULES and 5 Announcement TIPS.
5 Announcement rules:
1.Only 3 announcements. No more.
2.Announcements must be finalized by Thursday or Friday - no last minute.
3.Preach the announcements when possible.
4.Start with a statement about the mission or vision of the church - if you can’t do that, don’t do the announcement. The WHY is more important than the WHAT.
5.Always have visuals.
5 Announcement Ideas:
1.Try pre-recording AUDIO on the announcements and show slides/videos over the audio.
2.Push announcements out via text/email right before the service
3.Move announcements around each week based on where they fit in that week’s flow
4.Make it fun
5.Track the results.

So practical and helpful
I love this podcast! It’s so practical. Especially for smaller churches- which usually get overlooked. I highly recommend this for both new and experienced worship leaders!
