In Part 2 of my conversation with Marty we discuss the wrestling landscape in the UK in the 1980's and sets the scene between the main players involved, Joint Promotions, Dale Martin Promotions and Brain Dixon, back in the Golden Era of pro-wrestling in the UK.
Marty tells us about the impact of World of Sports wrestling every Saturday afternoon on ITV and many of his legendary opponents through the 1980's. Marty tells us about being a 'Good Guy' and a 'Villain' in different parts of the UK and the phycology that was used in all of his encounters.
We discuss being a part of the wrestling scene in the Hey-day of Big Daddy and Giant Haystacks, and working a sold out Wembley Arena.
Marty tells us about working Owen Hart for the vacant World Mid-Heavyweight title in 1987 and an amazing story about the lead up to the historic match-up on TV.
Marty also explains what he would bring back from those Golden Years to help or improve todays product.
