WVP.016 - Paul Dybdahl: Tell Stories. Create Change‪.‬ The Wes Via Podcast

    • Christianity

Welcome to this week’s special edition of the Jamie Via Podcast.
Film is fundamentally a method of communication. It is not that dissimilar from a verbal or written language. How you use the medium to communicate will determine how your message is received. Dr. Paul Dybdahl teaches a course in the M.A. in Cinema Religion and Worldview program called Christian Mission that explores how communication is essential to our mission as believers.
I am excited to announce a partnership with Walla Walla University’s communication department and their M.A. in Cinema, Religion, and Worldview. During the month of May we will be creating content together for this show. If you want to learn how to use visual storytelling to change lives, or want to develop you skill set to tell meaningful stories then you’ll want to check out this degree program. To find out more about their program you can visit www.film4him.org/called their 2019 Summer cohort begins in June and right now they are waiving the application fee for listeners of this podcast by using promo code “wesvia” when you apply.
