almost died listening
When someone said, “Dice always roll Snake Eyes for Gambit” last episode, it made me spit out my water, and proceed to choke in the middle of school. When I finally recovered, there was no way to tell the others in my class what I almost died laughing at…most of them have the vaguest clue of who the X-Men outside of “Hugh Jackman.”
Thats pretty much why I started listening to this Podcast, because there is no other GenZ person (who acts normally anyways) who cares about XMen as I do…finding a podcast that isn’t a bunch of old nerds with no social life was nice, and I’ve enjoyed it very much! As a Mega-Comic Fan (especially when it comes to Gambit), this Podcast highlights everything I’ve always loved about Xmen on the show, and even the Comics! An awesome find, it was worth the Near-Death Experience.

X-Men is my entire personality right now so trust me when I say the X-Boyz ‘97 podcast is the best thing I could have found.
Growing up, X-Men TAS was my favorite and now having new content and adult money to buy merch with is everything. You guys are the weekly friends I need to dedicate the appropriate amount of time and energy into the detailed break downs this content deserves. I Love your humor, banter, and hot takes.
As far as ‘97, I knew it was coming but man I wasn’t prepared for Remy’s funeral or how Rogue reacted.
John, I especially love your perspective. Thanks for speaking out for all of us who are OG Gambit fans and want the best for him and Rogue. Still grasping at anything tangible and holding out hope that it’s not over. Would love to see them introduce the Excalibur storyline and build Remy, Rogue, nightcrawler etc into the Black Knight film.

Hello, I was in grade school when X-Men the animated series 1st came out. I loved it and now I am thoroughly enjoying X-Men 97 much more than I thought I would. You guys have certainly added to the enjoyment of it and have made the very very long commute to work much more enjoyable and taking away my desire to have a sentinel step on my car in lieu of a long workday. Keep up the good work, the fantastic and enjoyable camaraderie on the air, and the great quality you guys bring each week. As an avid comic book collector, I am looking forward to seeing how they will play out the Bastian storyline, I feel like there will be an Iron Man level sacrifice made to stop him. Or Phoenix will just take him down. Thank you all.
