Looking back on 20 years of X-Men movies is a tremendous experience. It encompasses many movies, featuring amazing casts, ultimately of widely varying quality. The first X-Men heralded the dawn of Marvel's cinematic empire, while the classic Logan ended the series on a stellar note. The movies in between ran the gamut from fun and exciting, to dull and ponderous. But overshadowing the legacy of the X-Men movies, remain the many traumas and alleged abuses by the controversial producer who has left a toxic stain on these, and other movies: Bryan Singer.
