I’m a scientist myself and love this podcast. Very informative! I need to comment on the Rachel Perry episode where she said (after she mentioned the multiple studies that showed outcomes are improved and patients who exercise!) “we shouldn’t force people to exercise— hopefully, we find an “exercise pill”” Sorry, but that is what’s wrong with our world. We have a country where 90% of adults are metabolically sick. We have an alarmingly high rate of fatty liver disease, and obesity, particularly, in children and young people. And the only reason many of these people are alive after destroying their health and metabolism is because they are on a handful or two of pharmaceuticals. We have lost respect for our health and our bodies and we have “experts “ like Rachel Perry promoting drugs instead of lifestyle changes. That is a disgusting comment and she should be ashamed. I work in the pharmaceutical industry and am appalled at that comment. No, pharmaceuticals should be a back up. But instead, this woman is clearly promoting them as first. I wonder if she’s paid by big Pharma.

This is a really informative podcast that breaks down topics in an easily digestible way. The speakers are engaging and very knowledgeable.

Very smart and easy to listen too. Obviously they know what they are doing being able to explain, thorough, long in layman’s terms. Simple yet intelligent.
