We can't believe it, but it's already time for the season 4 finale! The whole gang (minus Lucy) is on the ranch now--basically there are teens EVERYWHERE. Find out what happens when Ted and Melody miss the fact that their fellow teens' plots to kill Mr. Ernst are not, in fact, earnest, but rather a brilliant money-making scheme for the ranch. Jess takes us on a wiki-etymology-ish adventure, and Teresa shares the embarrassing story that caused her to move to outer space.

Season 4 Ep 11: Some Like It Hot
This week's episode has a temporarily blind Mr. Ernst trying to hit on his nephew whom he mistakes for a ranch critic. Jake ropes Danny into doing drag with him to try to save his job after he flips a burger in a lady's face, and boy can those two pull it off! Note: it took us about a month to make this one because Teresa had some "technical difficulties," so it's a couple of takes stitched together.

Season 4 Ep 10: Dog House Blues
Oh boy. The Vlecks are back. Jess and T did a lot of Googling random things to avoid watching this one. Look, we LOVE Hey Dude, but Val Vleck comes in a little hot. And she tries to heat things up even more with Mr. Ernst to make Vick jealous. Thankfully Jake is studying psychology.

Season 4 Ep 9: Do the Right Thing
In this week's episode, Danny helps everyone on the ranch learn what it means to do the right thing (what? That's the title of the episode!) when an archeologist comes to town with his trowel and uncovers remains from Danny's ancestors. There's also some levity as Jake and Buddy go hunting for a lake monster. This was a very special episode to say the least.

Come on down to the Bar None ranch with Teresa and Jess for the podcast you may not have known you needed, but definitely do. Hey Dude was by far my favorite of Nickelodeon’s “teen” shows, and I have probably seen every episode multiple times. This podcasts brings back so many memories, and has inspired me to rewatch the entire series. I’ve been savoring this pod and only listening to episodes after I’ve seen the corresponding Hey Dude ep, which is both challenging — Yay Dude is so binge-able— but also rewarding. The hosts’ combination of affection, analysis, and humor is a true delight. Yay for Yay Dude!

I just binged all the eps & watched along just in time for season 3! I love all the commentary and fun facts. Looking forward to the next 3 seasons. Yaw!
