Yes, FAMILY-ING Familying the Faith

    • Christianity

Hello Friends!  Welcome to the first episode of Vibrant Faith’s new podcast, Familying the Faith, where our goal is to connect with ministry leaders who are ready to dig into helping parents, the primary faith-forming agents in our world, have greater capacity and confidence in sharing a vibrant faith in Jesus with the next generation.  We’ll be bringing you stories, insights, and experiments from ministry leaders all across the church who are taking their next faithful steps into the daily lives of parents and children of all ages.  In this first episode, Rick Lawrence, Jim LaDoux, and Nancy Going want to help you understand the podcast title:  Familying the Faith.

They talk about:

Why familying?  Because it describes the relational process the Spirit uses to form faith rather than a UNIT.
Because we know from LOTS of years of research that when faith is talked about at home it makes THE difference in people’s connection to following Jesus.
And because as important as it is to live out our faith in a community of believers, our faith is formed in the ups and downs and relationships of daily life.
