Today’s guest Terry Tucker has played many roles in his life, marketing executive, police officer, SWAT Team negotiator, and basketball coach to name a few. But he never expected to have the role of cancer patient. Terry talks about all rollercoaster of emotions that occurred after his diagnosis, and then finally choosing to come to terms with it and fight for his life, and then work to inspire others.
Terry is the author of 'Sustainable Excellence: The Ten Principles to Leading Your Uncommon and Extraordinary Life.' Terry is kind enough to talk about a few of those principles and how it can change your outlook, put the gifts you have to the best use, and make your life and those around you better. He also explains the 40% rule and his 4 truths, which could give you a whole new perspective on how much farther you can push yourself when times get tough. He continues this daily with his blog called Motivational Check. This merely scratches the surface of the wisdom and advice that Terry brings, along with great stories like playing against Michael Jordan.
