You have a BABY...in an INTERVIEW‪!‬ Sales On The Side

    • Business

A few episodes ago, my esteemed guest educated us on how to be 'stand-out' candidates, ripe for hiring. We're turning the tables on this one, learning about what it's like on the 'other side.' As the one asking the questions and vetting the candidates, do you consider the actions associated just steps in a necessary process, or more of an 'art'? Probably a little of both, but I lean more towards the latter. As Sarah Koester and I discuss this at length, you may just learn that some of the 'subtle' brush strokes in the process of being an interviewer are what can transform this 'process' into a work of art.

Sarah Koester is a SHRM-SCP certified Human Resources professional with over 17 years of experience. She has field experience in recruitment and selection, training and development, performance management, compensation and benefits, employment law, employee relations, payroll management, workers compensation and workplace safety. Sarah's experience stems from distribution and logistics, manufacturing, schools, and hospitals.  All of this culminated in the creation of Phelps Consulting. Sarah and her team are a one stop shop, ranging from Safety, Transportation, Environmental, HR, and general Business needs.
