Beyond the Bump is a podcast brought to you by Jayde Couldwell and Sophie Pearce! A podcast targeted at mums, just like you! A place to have real conversations with honest and authentic people.
In our sixty-ninth episode of Beyond the Bump, we have the one and only, Melissa Butterworth, aka Jayde’s mum, aka GILF (grandma I’d like to *beep*) on the poddy. We speak to Melissa about being a young mum - she had Jayde at 18 when she was still in high school. Melissa answers a lot of questions that came through relating to being a young mum. She also speaks to being a mum of one (which is not talked about enough), still going strong with her baby daddy (aka Jayde’s father), a little on perimenopause and more!
We hope you absolutely love this episode!

This episode of Beyond the Bump is brought to you by Fisher-Price’s Linkimals:
Is there any greater animal than the sloths?
No. Lazy, cute, and gets away with anything!
Yes, I agree (apart from the cute part!). Billie and Yumi are absolutely obsessed with sloths. They have sloth pyjamas, sloth crockery, and they were so stoked when I came home with the sloth Linkimal from Fisher-Price the other day.
Poppy goes wild for the Linkimal’s too as they light up, they play fun music and songs. The sloth has also been helping Poppy with numbers and colours - and with my dance moves too!
There are a bunch of different Linkimals that teach different songs, numbers, phrases, colours in a super fun way. And the part that Yumi froths for the most is when you get multiple Linkimal friends together they actually synchronize their music.
Just remember to turn them off in the middle of the night so they don't link up at midnight and freak you out like you're on some nightmarish set of Toy Story 2!
Head to Target, Big W and all good toy stores to get your little one a new sloth friend.
