The COVID pandemic continues to dominate news even as we have withdrawn from Afghanistan, seen restrictive abortion laws passed, and have major infrastructure and budget bills moving forward. With case counts, hospitalizations, and deaths from COVID up, Joe Biden released a 6-part plan last week that includes vaccine mandates that affect 100 million Americans. Many on the right have criticized this as a violation of their rights. In this episode, I will explore whether it is a violation of rights, why we have a mandate at all, and finally a breakdown of the division amongst Americans and how the politicization of COVID has resulted in the needless deaths of thousands of Americans.
