In this episode, Danny Covey and I discuss his lifelong journey with heart problems and surgeries that started when he was an infant.  Danny shares how his heart literally exploded while he was on the operating room table… he would have died if he had been anywhere else. During his experiences, he has learned the importance of using your agency and WHY it is probably better to ask for forgiveness than permission in some circumstances.   Danny Covey has faced many battles in his life. He's undergone 8 heart surgeries, and nearly died on the operating table 3 times. He was repeatedly told he would never physically excel. Yet, after much blood, sweat and tears, he earned a black belt in jiu-jitsu. This accomplishment came just 20 months after having his ruptured descending aortic arch replaced. His story is one that he believes the world needs to hear – a story of faith, healing, and above all; hope.   I am your host, Marci Nettles.
