It seems like everyone is online these days, and even if they are not a follower they are looking to make sure your business is legit.
I’m not on social much myself, actually if it wasn’t for the FB groups I’m in, and the fact that I have to have the personal page to have the business pages I wouldn’t even have a page.
But I do look online when I meet someone quickly to check them out and get a sense of ……maybe validation of what they have shared about themselves or their business.
A business colleague made a comment to me the other day about the fact that we had just under 500 followers for each of our Strut accounts. I thought about that comment for a few minutes and then asked if they minded if I shared a few of my thoughts on that with them and this is what I said that I hope you find value from too:
1. It's not about vanity followers. It's buyers and potential clients who stalk your page that matter.
2. Don't just post to post. Post content of value that inspires.
3. Keep showing up. Consistency is KING in this game.
