Zealous Musician is a podcast that takes a closer look at the music we love.

For season one, we’ll dive into music from post-hardcore and emo bands like Thrice, Underoath, A Day to Remember - Taking Back Sunday, Brand New, and Copeland. Our focus will be on light music theory -- even playing some ourselves -- and rediscovering why we loved these bands so much in the first place.

    [10] CHVRCHES

    [10] CHVRCHES

    Electronic... Pop-rock... Scottish... CHRVCHES.

The episode was recorded last year during the creating of the show Zealous Musician. It was part of testing out how to do episodes on different styles of music that I love. Rather than letting it sit on a shelf and collect dust, I decided to publish the episode! Although it's much different than the post-hardcore/emo bands of season one, I hope you enjoy this synthesized electro-episode!

Awesome!

Marco does a great job breaking down what makes these bands and their music special. Thanks for reminding me why I loved these bands so much, especially Copeland. That episode gave me all the feels.

Exceptionally accurate

Marco has a way of dissecting each and every song that will leave you wanting more. Such a great perspective. I love his perspective and how well he describes each detail of the music.
