Key Principle: Seek through prayer and meditation to know the Lord’s will and to have the power to carry it out. Listen as members relate how they overcame fear and depression with prayer and scripture study.

Key Principle: Continue to take personal inventory, and when you are wrong, promptly admit it. Members in recovery discuss how they prayerfully balance and evaluate each day. Step 10 is a commitment to take responsibility for daily mistakes

Step 9: Restitution and Reconciliation
Key Principle: Wherever possible, make a direct restitution to all persons you have harmed. Making amends takes time and patience. Listen to members relate true experiences as they strive to make restitution and live in harmony with the commandments

Key Principle: Make a written list of all persons you have harmed and become willing to make restitution to them. Listen to true accounts of members as they seek to forgive themselves and make amends with others.

Key Principle: Humbly ask Heavenly Father to remove your shortcomings. Listen as members recount how they humbled themselves and learned to put their past in the past and trust Heavenly Father.
