Loving the World
The beloved poet Mary Oliver said: My work is loving the world. We’ll take that as our intention today and let this short practice of simple movement and meditation be a love letter – a Valentine – to the world. We’ll start by stimulating the space around your physical heart, freeing any congestion or tightness in your chest, shoulders, and upper back. Then we’ll allow the resulting openness and ease to settle into your body with some quiet meditation, letting the feeling to extend, ripple by ripple, out into the world.

Relaxation for Illness & Fatigue
This practice is quiet and still. Deeply nourishing and restful. It’s especially for those of you who have asked for support around the fatigue and strain of Long Covid. I hope it will also benefit anyone recovering from illness, navigating a chronic condition, or simply feeling exhausted. It combines a guided relaxation for your whole system with a gentle intention you can draw on—like a mantra—anytime.

Annual Winter Solstice Practice
Winter Solstice, the still point when the natural world sinks into quiet hibernation and deep rest. Today’s Embodied Meditation honors this time with our annual practice of slow, calming movement, following the energy down and in, and finishing with a candle-gazing meditation to tune into the ancient ritual of tending a gentle light during this darkest time of year.
