Frittatas, bacon, curry soup! Jo’s first story is about Vincent Filyaw and what he did in his bunker. Rachel’s story B involves a purge-like situation with pregnant women, via Senate Bill 66.

Season 4 begins! An unusual brunch: Spaghetti, salad, and cucumber sandwiches. And cake. We first discuss the evil of Aaron Burr and musicals. Our second story, about “doll collector,” Anatoly Moskvin, contains no actual murder; nor is it unsolved.

Cocktail: Milk Punch Cocktail (Apple Brandy, Half & Half, Vanilla, spices)

Story A: Aaron Burr and his famous murder; does it make him evil?

Story B: Graves are robbed, dolls are made. What role did Anatoly play?

The Season 3 finale arrives! Perfect Brunch for a cold weather day: grilled cheese of havarti, gouda, muenster… with tomato soup and brownies. Jo’s story covers the “demon” Pazuzu - born John Lawson - and his questionable living conditions. Rachel’s unsolved story of body parts, a tattoo, and the name “Monique.”

Cocktail: The Green Demon (vodka, Midori, rum, lemonade)

Story A: John Lawson - aka Pazuzu Algarad - lives with his mom and kills people.

Story B: In Gravesend Bay, Birdwatchers find a decomposing human hand. A tattoo is the only clue.

It’s a fancy brunch: steak and potatoes! It’s time for another literary character to be put on the scale. Rachel discusses that famous antagonist of Hansel and Gretel. In our second story, Jo tells us about the mysterious vanishing of Bryce Laspisa.

The Bunch has a sensible steak brunch and a very boozy cocktail. Rachel’s story is about the murder/suicide of Zach and Addie. Jo’s unsolved story focuses on some mysterious details around the death of famed painter, Van Gogh.
