Storytime with Kathy Johnson Clarke
We are so excited to bring you our conversation with the one and only Kathy Johnson Clarke! She’s a world bronze medalist, an Olympic silver and bronze medalist, an American Cup Champion, a national champion with Centenary College, where she competed in 1978 and 1979 — long before it was cool to do elite and college gymnastics at the same time — and of course she’s a beloved commentator who has graced television screens in our sport for 41 years. Kathy shared so many incredible stories with us from helping to bring the gymnastics program back at Centenary, she shares how Friday Night Heights got its start, and of course her retirement as a commentator and all of the emotions that surfaced, a lot of which stem from her experiences as a gymnast.

2024 U.S. Classic Recap | News Update
This week we are back to recap the Core Hydration Classic where we saw some upgrades from many athletes including Simone Biles, we experienced heartbreak with Gabby Douglas and Konnor McClain withdrawing, and we were impressed with people like Jordan Chiles and Shilese Jones – who made their 2024 season debuts here – and the rockstars Jade Carey and Suni Lee who continue to make their case for Paris. Plus we talk about some major NCAA news with Larissa Libby resigning at Iowa and Selena Harris being dismissed from the UCLA team.

Interview with Georgia's new co-head coach Cecile Landi
This week we are so excited to be joined by Cécile Canqueteau-Landi, who really needs no introduction if you’re a gymnastics fan! Cecile is a 1996 Olympian for France and a world-renowned coach from World Champions Centre in Texas where she coaches some of the best gymnasts in the world including the most decorated gymnast of all time, Simone Biles, and world and Olympic medalists like Jordan Chiles, Jocelyn Roberson and Melanie de Jesus dos Santos. Cecile is now taking her talents to the NCAA scene as the co-head coach at the University of Georgia! Today we chat about why she decided to make this move and her hopes for the future of the legendary program.
