Pre recorded before COVID and looking for inspiration and motivation with everything life and school, we were honoured to have a heartfelt conversation with young Waterloo based entrepreneur Daishane Johnson. Daishane speaks to us about life experiences, trials, achievements and a future he aims to set in stone. 

An LOE special episode. We sit down and talk beginnings, motivation, design process and insights into the future with Waterloo based brand, E(x)periments on their mission to redefining clothing.

Started by two Nigerians with basic knowledge of fashion and the intention of creating stand out pieces in fashion, the name “Experiments” was chosen with the intention of leaning about different fabrics and experimenting with different designs, cuts, stitching, textures and fits.

As the exam season is upon us we prepare for finals and go through topics revolving around stress during these times, the COVID vaccine, a long tangent on dating while black, before finding ourselves at race & mannerisms as a topic. We go ahead to end the episode with our version of a positive message.
