Sound explains more than you expect. I live in Singapore and travel around south east Asia often. I record the environmental sound like sound in cafe, in public transportation and so on. It would be great if you enjoy these sounds to understand the culture or when you want some meaningless sounds to focus on something!

I was waiting for my flight to Japan in a lounge. You would here obvious announcement & the silent atmosphere in there.
