He demands that the party get his ring back from his Ex, Balthazar Black. Balthazar promises to return the ring in exchange for 3 magical items found in 3 different dimensions. With a new Jackalfolk companion named Baheed given by Balthazar to help, the party can begin their journey.

After landing in one of 3 portals leading to unknown worlds each containing one of the artifacts they need, the party is faced with difficult challenges, including putting their trust in each other
