    Through the Storm

    Through the Storm

This is a full, standalone fantasy audionovella.

Through the Storm tells the story of Kleo, a revolutionary fighting to free her homeland from imperialist oppression. With fire and sabotage, she fights against her colonizers, her boss, and her god.

This story takes heavy inspiration from ancient Greece, and Greek mythology, but is set in an another world.

Fantasy Counter Programming is a channel/podcast dedicated to creating fiction that does not shy away from the political aspects of the genre. There are no chosen ones, no benevolent kings, no prophecies that take control of the fate of the world out of the hands of the people who inhabit it. Works of fantasy that features these aspects are great - foundational to the genre. No disrespect is meant to the likes of Tolkien, Frank Herbert, Robert Jordan, and the myriad of talented others. Instead, FCP simply seeks to work parallel to these tropes, and present an alternate style of fiction that focuses on ideals such as democracy, self-determination, and class-consciousness.
