A reading of the short story written by Paraic Pearse.

Paraic Pearse was Commander in Chief of the 1916 Easter Rising against the British forces. He was captured and executed, along with 15 others including his brother William.

Pearse was also a writer, poet and teacher in both Irish and English and founded two Gaelic language schools.
