You could be hitting a fast ball, or pushing a dragsters throttle, and regretfully reacting to tragedy in your neighborhood. What is your Reaction Time?

Dr. Wightman talks about reaction time and the steps you can take to improve mental acuity. He references sports stars such as @TheSargeTF Tony Schumacher top fuel drag racer who relies on reaction time take out competitors, or baseball players at bat such as @cgrand3 Curtis Granderson reacting just at the right moment to release bat to ball.  Dr. Wightman takes this discussion a step further and asks us to see our world with a greater sense of awareness so that we are prepared to react when friends and family are put at risk.  His example is the tragedy in Higland Park, IL where many lives were lost during a fourth of July celebration.

Coach Wightman steps in and adds several ways you may improve your reaction time enhancing your awareness so that you may deliver the necessary preformance that delivers optimal results.  Dr. Wightman points out that improving reaction time is supported by greater awareness as he reminds us that managing our emotions while being grateful keeps are minds clear and ready to react.

Luv Yourself, Share that Luv'n Feeling

Today talent is not good enough to face competition and challenges life may present you.  When you level up your awareness and start each day knowing that you love yourself and can openly show gratitude toward others you are prepared to take on the toughest competitors focusing your skill and talent on your priorities.  Dr. Wightman looks at recent challenges and celebrations in our nation while asking "what does luv gotta do with it",  how social stress is managed, building a career, or influencing social change.  Coach Wightman shares recent examples such as Kate Madigan's @_KateMadigan promotion to Asst GM for the New Jersey Devils and the recent appointment of #SandraDouglassMorgan to President of the Las Vegas Raiders that showcase the love two women have for games dominated by men.  As Henry Winkler has said he is driven by two words tenacity and gratitude, and I believe Kate and Sandra may have a littel tenacity driving their gratitude.
