Five Year Anniversary | Who are my people? | June 09 Worship Gathering
The Sunday we explored the Bible story where Jesus redefines his "family" as those who follow and support him, not just biological relatives. Marginalized groups like the LGBTQ+ community, who often have to hide their true selves in order to be accepted by their families. Storied Church's mission is to create a welcoming, safe space where meaningful relationships can flourish and everyone feels a sense of belonging. we hope our lives might embody to be an inclusive tribe or extended family where everyone is celebrated for who they truly are, no matter their backgrounds or identities.

Where Good Can Happen | June 02 Worship Gathering
This Sunday our focus was on finding true meaning and restoration in spiritual practices, rather than just going through religious motions out of guilt or obligation. Drawing from Gospel stories, it argues that spiritual rhythms like Sabbath rest are meant to rejuvenate us and help us experience the Hebrew concept of "tov" - God's desire for our wholeness and vitality. Despite our struggles, God still sees the inherent goodness in our lives. The call is to orient our habits and mindsets around nurturing this divine goodness within us.
