𝔽𝕆𝕌ℕ𝔻𝕀ℕ𝔾 𝔽𝔸𝕋ℍ𝔼ℝ Francisco Huerta is a man of advocacy, a leader, an educator, a builder, and an inspiration for his students, his family, his colleagues, his fraternal brothers, and for me.

Born in Guanajuato, México, but raised in Salinas, Ca. - Francisco’s story is the example of someone who fights for his dreams & for what he believes in.

As we celebrate 30 years of the brotherhood & excellence of Sigma Delta Alpha Fraternity, Inc. - Francisco shares his recollection of the purpose & vision of this organization.

Her research focuses on, “research on issues of equity, identity, and campus climate for undocumented Latinx students, while employing perspectives such as legal violence, racist nativism, Chicana feminist epistemology to identify and deconstruct issues of power and inequities as experienced by these populations.”

She started advocating & making an impact in her community long before she started her career.

Joining the Glorious Gamma chapter of Sigma Lambda Gamma National Sorority, Inc. provided a lot of those tools & experiences for her to start that journey.
