The early church grew from 120 to over 3,000 people in one day, and continued growing at a tremendous rate. They had to wrestle with how to handle that kind of growth, and answer some serious questions along the way. We have been looking for weeks at how Jesus prepared His disciples for ministry. He trained them personally, supernaturally opened their eyes to understand the scriptures, and instructed them to wait for the baptism of the Holy Spirit. On Pentecost, they were filled with the Spirit and were absolutely empowered to be the witnesses He had called them to be. They had everything they needed... or did they? Today we will look at one more critical element in the makeup of the mature, effective follower of Christ.
