Share yours when it’s your turn, and share experiences instead of opinions. People will listen to your stories about a topic, even when they disagree with your opinion. People won’t listen to your opinion if you’re not listening to their stories.

When you can share stories and ask questions, you show that you’re open to learning from the other person. When you can only share opinions, you may be perceived as a conversational bully.

Be teachable – that means being open to learning from people, even those who disagree with you.
