Viv Grigg - Finding the Kingdom in Slums of Global Megacities [ZEAL EP #11]
Around the world, one and a half billion people live in the slums of megacities like Manila, Calcutta, and Sao Paulo.
Viv Grigg has lived, planted churches, and brought the kingdom of God to these slums for the last 40 years, and discipled thousands of other Christians to do the same.
But its not been an easy ride. Its taken Viv years to work out all the ways Jesus wants to transform people’s lives. We’re talking with Viv today about how he discovered the whole gospel of Jesus Christ, and saw the kingdom of God come in urban poor areas.

Lawrence's childhood in Toronto was fairly ordinary and boring. Then in high school he started taking Jesus seriously, and by the end of university Jesus had led him to live and work in Saudi Arabia. That was just the start of discovering what Jesus is really up to in every nation of the world.

Mulu came to Canada as a refugee in 1986, and discovered for herself who Jesus is in the Word of God shortly thereafter. She's been following Jesus with an Eritrian church family and praying nonstop for Canadian young people ever since.
