At WrestleMania, Cyndi Lauper would once again provide moral support from ringside for Wendi Richter, who was looking to win the WWF Women's Championship back from Leilani Kai. When Kai's accomplice, The Fabulous Moolah, attempted to interfere, Lauper leaped in to save the day and help Richter win her title back. In 1985, Lauper helped the WWE get into the music game with their first The Wrestling Album, on which she provided backing vocals for Roddy Piper's track For Everybody."SHE did a lot of really fun stuff that left its mark on wrestling

WWE & NXT now have a bigger roster We now have more women in the WWE than ever Over the last few years, the WWE women's roster has massively grown Better feuds Building stars for the future

Over the last few years, the WWE women's roster has massively grown. We now have over 40 women across the RAW, SmackDown and NXT rosters. At times, it can feel like the one singles championship between each WWE roster isn't enough, considering how much the rosters have expanded over the last ten years.

With the roster growing, and possibly expanding further, another championship would give opportunities to more women, and deservedly so. With just one title per show up for grabs, the title scene can sometimes seem cluttered, and sometimes well-deserving wrestlers can go overlooked.


If there were a secondary title, it would give other female Superstars something substantial to fight one another over.


Mid-card title scenes are a great way of building up future stars, as well as giving current stars to chance to compete for a championship. It seems especially important to have this when we have many women moving to different brands, but with nothing to compete for months, even years. Many well-established female WWE stars too would benefit

This was a strategic move to give Dwayne Johnson more political power overall and to show Endeavor’s faith in his involvement and that even Paul Levesque would "lose that power struggle with Johnson at this point", as one source surmised.Brian Gewirtz will be in the mix as the voice representing The Rock in the WWE Creative process going forward.

There are some who believe Gewirtz will be around physically at least for major shows going forward, could even be there as a “Plan B” if Endeavor ever needs to pivot WWE's direction and go with a Dwayne Johnson-backed creative team down the line.

BREAKER NEWS: With regards to the new sex trafficking lawsuit:
A woman who received a payout from WWE boss Vince McMahon has accused McMahon, the company and a former executive of sex trafficking in a new lawsuit that raises questions about the breadth of an internal company probe conducted by a law firm last year.

Janel Grant, a former employee at WWE’s headquarters, said in a lawsuit filed Thursday that she was abused and sexually exploited by McMahon while he was chief executive. She alleged that McMahon lured her with promises of career advancement, and then he allegedly exploited her and trafficked her to other men inside the company.

The lawsuit, filed in a Connecticut federal court, describes in graphic detail Grant’s account of interactions with the businessman and TV personality. She alleged that McMahon and another WWE executive locked her in an office in WWE’s headquarters in Stamford, Conn., on June 15, 2021, and took turns sexually assaulting her while other staff were working.

In the middle of another workday, on June 23, 2021, McMahon locked Grant inside his private locker room at WWE’s offices and forced himself on her over a massage table, the suit said. Later that day, McMahon’s personal assistant delivered $15,000 in Bloomingdale’s gift cards to Grant in her office.

The suit also includes screenshots of explicit text messages that McMahon allegedly sent to Grant. A May 2020

In July 2021, the suit said, Vince McMahon instructed Grant to create personalized sexual content for a WWE superstar that he was trying to re-sign. The suit didn’t name the professional wrestler, but described him as both a UFC fighter and WWE talent. People familiar with the matter identified the wrestler as Brock Lesnar, one of WWE’s biggest names.

The suit said McMahon shared the explicit photos with the star and informed Grant that “he likes what he sees.” After the star agreed to a new WWE contract, McMahon texted Grant in August 2021 to say “that part of the deal was f—ing U.”

That December, McMahon gave Grant’s personal cellphone number to the WWE star, the lawsuit said. The wrestler asked her to send a video of herself urinating, the suit said, and after she did, he called her a “b—.” That same month, the suit said, the star expressed a desire to “set a play date,” but a snowstorm disrupted his travel plans.
